What memories, Salty Brine, who I use to listen to as a kid growing up in Southern New England, Tall Ships everywhere, all kinds of languages I couldn't understand, yet, somehow, we got along just fine, playing chess on the russian tall ship, and getting my fanning kicked by a russian crew member, swimming over to the Eagle (in the middle of the night) and trying to figure out how to get rid of that AWEFUL new colored CG stripe, great get together with other crew members aboard their ship's, being so proud of the ship I sailed on as a paid hand at 15 years old, sailing out of Newport Harbor on Bill of Rights and weaving our way through hords of pleasure boats anchored in East Passage, what I fearful time yet, yet glory of heart as we helped make the most memorable event in Newport's history.
