I sailed in New York Harbor on tankers early in my career and occasionally we would sail past West Point on the Hudson River. It's a beautiful area but I know that being a West Point cadet was another experience.
I sure miss Cap. He was very instrumental in launching my career.
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you,but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on ( mr.jamespollard@aol.com ) for the full details.Have a nice day Thanks God bless.

Welcome aboard Bob!
It's wonderful to have a crew member from the 60's on the site. I hope that you enjoy perusing the pictures, stories, and hopefully reconnecting with some of your old shipmates.
I see that you graduated from KP and I'm sure Cap had a play on that. He very much steered me along on my maritime career and I attended Maine as an engineer. I sailed for many years and eventually came shoreside to build new research ships with NOAA.
Again, thank you for joining and I hope that you can find some old photos from your time aboard the schooner, to post.
