Favorite Tabor Boy moment
Any time getting on a good heal and making some wake. More specifically though: going through Quick's Hole taking the long way around to Cutty Hunk in May 2010. I'll admit it was an unnecessary extra jaunt to get from Marion to Cutty Hunk but it was well worth it. Some of the best sailing of my Tabor Boy career that day. I also got to see Buzzard's Bay Tower for the first time that day, even though not up close.
Good to hear from you and it sounds like life is going well for you there. Please give my best to Tim and Paul Mercer. Also if you have the time, drop me a note from time to time to let me know how it's going for you.
Very best regards,
Jamie

Cam,
Sorry to eaves drop as it might be but I saw your post on Bob Glover's page. I sailed with Bob on the TABOR BOY when we attended Tabor and during the summer programs for several years. We also attended MMA two years apart and have been life long friends since.
It's great to hear that you are going to attend MMA too. I love the school and have absolutely no regrets for attending. I went another rout all together and studied engineering and found it to be a great education and have had a lot of fun with it.
When you get up to Castine, you will run into Timmy Leach who runs the waterfront. He is a good friend of mine and a great person. He will be a good man for you to know.
I wish you the best of luck and please let me know if I can help you in any way.
Cam
Congratz! on your acceptance into MMA. IT is a great hands on school balanced by the proper amount of supporting academics. The program you are going into is well respected! Well Done, contact me anytime with questions, Cheers!
