Dan,
That is such a great photo; I’d love to see others. Do you have any of Walting Island? Do you remember the hat woman? Working on the schooner was one of the best jobs I have ever had.

Did you take that Pick of me under the schooner? I really enjoyed those days of sailing around the Bahamas. Please dig up the rest of your photos.

I've heard great things about the Pacific North West. I have never made up there. My wife, a mate from Texas Maritime, loves the area. I plan on doing the Alaska run before I retire from the maritime industry. A class mate from Maine Maritime lives in Port Townsend and is very involved in the sail training industry. If you ever run across Chris Kluck you're in good hands... Glad to hear things are well.

Jon Lincoln
Howdy Dan,
Where are you working these days? " whipping us into shape" is this good or bad? I always ask myself if I did a good job or not every time I leave a ship. Great to hear from you,
Jonathan
Dan,
Dig all the photos up. It’s great for others as it brings up a lot of memories.
I moved back to the East Coast from Seattle in '98. I still get out there from time to time and miss it. There is so much to do out there and the boating is great. I live in northern Virginia now (Waterford) and love it, though it’s about an hour away from Chesapeake Bay.
Regards,
Jamie
