- I was Cap's friend,Peter. I helped him close down his house in Marion and he gave me many things-a ship's lantern,dignity and many photos of him on the Taborboy! If you would like I can scan them for you. I spent several trips=by plane{lol}visiting him and his wife in Florida. Plus I painted his portrait.we were close . Let me know if you want me to get these photos to you.

Following up on Jamie's comment below, we'd love to have anything and everything Tabor Boy related added to the Tabor Boy Project. I think that I can speak for Peter in that he would like to have the picture posted. I'm sure that you have already seen some of the great shots of him on this site going back to his early years aboard the schooner.
