- Sailing up the Mystic River to the Mystic Seaport. Also when sailing to Nantucket in the fog. There were some small boats in the channel so Cap had us slam the steel doors as he announced over the lous speaker - "dive, dive". Within a few seconds, the channel was clear for us to proceed.

I too attended Clarkson for two years to get a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. The funny think is that you are the third person from Clarkson in three days that I've corresponded with.
I loved reading your post of some of your memories aboard the old girl. Man, Cap was quite a character and I miss him a lot.
