John,
Twomey mentioned that there is a special remembrance for Jim Tedesco on Saturday: "Saturday evening: 5:30pm: Remembering Jim Tedesco '79 with his family" which we should attend. So, probably the 1230 TABOR BOY cruse would be best if we all plan on sailing together.
Also if you will be around at Sunday noon, Bob Glover (A.K.A Bob G. Lover) graciously invited us over to his house in Fairhaven for BBQ. Peter Mello (creator of the TABOR BOY Project) should be there too. I'm going to bring his boys aboard for the cruse and list them as my illegitimate boys.
I have confidence that Blaine will be in his new job shortly and will be able to attend the reunion.
John,
I'm still hopeful that you will attend the reunion on June 12th. Also, I'm trying to get all of our TABOR BOY classmates on the same time slot for the 1230 Saturday sail.
If you haven't registered for the reunion yet, here is the site: https://www.taboracademy.org/forms.asp?id=3902
We will have to sign up for the TABOR BOY sail on campus.
I sure hope to see you,
Jamie
John,
I don't have your email and wanted to include you on an email that I sent to a group of our cronies from Tabor (I really hope that you can make it) :
All,
It’s now less than a month to go for our 30th reunion and I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone, especially those that I haven’t seen since graduation. Twomey will have some fresh sea stories from his years of sailing off of the Middle East, Willeson should have some good “sky” stories from his days with Delta, Fortin from his days in the deep south, Laing should have some good stories of his years of being a Scot in France, and Pepe will have some good tequila took make all of the stories believable.
I hope you all are well and look forward seeing you.
John,
I've been talking with quite a few of the old gang and it looks like we should have a good turn out for our reunion. To name a few: Blaine, Sam Howell, Alec Willeson, Matt Twomey, Matt Smith. Also, Glover lives over in Fairhaven now so we can catch up with him too. You better get your ass there! Pepe will be bringing some top shelf Tequila too.
Give me a call on my cell if you can – 703-728-6949.
Hope your well and yell at you soon,
Jamie
Hi John, Welcome aboard! What's been happening with you? Where are you living now? We have now been in the New York area for about 18 years and happened to see Matt Towmey a couple months ago. Let me know what you are up to.
John,
Welcome aboard the site and thanks so much for joining! I've had a lot of fun catching up with the "old gang" and reading about their memories and viewing their pictures. It can be one hell of a blast from the past. I hope that you are well and I hope even more that you will be at our 30th year reunion - holy sh_t!!!
Best regards,
Jamie
