Favorite Tabor Boy moment

It was blowing a gale coming back from Nassau but Gene the cook was not to be deterred. Dispite high seas and a serious pitch and roll he was determined to cook a turkey. During one of the rolls that darn near put the gunnells under, the turkey came flying out of the oven and sliding accross the galley. Gene, gave a serveral more colorful seafaring adjectives and slammed it back in the oven.
