Hi Dave, I'm still here in Key West enjoying the great weather. I decided not to make the long trip back up North this Spring and will stay here through this winter too. We were very fortunate this season and had no hurricanes which is a big relief to everyone who lives here. I hope that you'll have an easy Winter this year.
Hi Dave, it sure has been a long time. I pretty much lost contact with everybody when I moved down here on the Chesapeake. Just today I bought a sailboat and on November 1st I retire and am headed for the Florida Keys for the winter and then the Chesapeake Bay, Cape Cod, & Maine coast for next summer. Its been a long time coming! Are Karen & Jay still in Mattapoisett? I looked for their phone number but couldn't find it or an address for them there anymore. How are Christine and the girls?
Dave,
It's great to have you on the site! I think that Cap would be very proud of this project that Peter started. I've been behind and regret that I have not yet passed this site along to Jason, Karen, Jay, or Dale. It would be great to capture their memories and photos too.
I trust all is well up north. Please let me know if you ever find your way down in Virginia. My best to Christine.
Best regards,
Jamie
Hi Dave!
Welcome aboard and thanks for joining!
These photos are fantastic and classics!
Our courses crossed a number of times over the years but my first season was Fall 1973, with Jon Barrett as XO, so I'm probably not in those great pictures. I do recognize a couple of the upper classman.
Hope all is well for you and your family and please tell a few sea stories when you get the chance.
