Hi Peter! I'm back, and giving this workstation a good thrashing to insure its obediance. Best Wishes, Matt

Peter,
Be grateful that you only lost a few minutes; most people loose their life looking at Chuck! Did you know that he can turn back the face of time with one of his round-house kicks? Impressive!

Bermuda, well life styles of the rich and famous! How is it this time of the year? I owe Mary a trip and I haven’t been there for 17 years. Have a great time.

I’ll write something up on the PISCES. I think it would be cool to get her posted.

Well, I have to run to catch my flight with Bubba Air. You know he doesn’t like it when you show up late. The last guy was tossed into the alligators.

Best,
Jamie

"Remember The Ultimate Warrior? He quit wrestling because Chuck Norris wanted his nickname back."

God I love the Chuck Norris widget that I posted on my page. Yah, Chuck's tough, but he hasn't met someone from the TABOR BOY crew.

Hey bud!
I just saw that Rob Atkins joined which made me realize the obvious. I invited him to join last spring but with a outdated address. I need to resend invites with current addresses that I can get from the Tabor Acad Allum site.

I'm taking my first flying lesson tomorrow with Capt Buba, a local Mississippi fly boy. Should be fun.

My very best to the Mello clan,
Jamie

Peter, I like the new "comment back" feature, very handy. The next thing to get is a spell check for dyslexic guys like my self.
I did look at the photos briefly this morning and will add comments this evening. I joined Google this morning too.

Hi Jeff;

It's great to have you aboard! It seems that the older we get the more meaningful our Tabor Boy years become. It's really cool to reconnect with shipmates.

Hope you can dig up some old pictures and are able to tell a few sea stories. The Tabor Boy Project started very strong but has slowed down a bit lately. I know that there's lots of raw material out there that we need to collect here. Jamie does an amazing job of recruiting new members. It's time to turn it up again. Look forward to your contributions.

Thanks again for joining. I look forward to catching up on where your life has taken you.

Fair Winds,
Peter

Peter,
You mo’definitely da’ Man! I had so much fun reliving some of the stories and meeting Chris; he’s a good man. Give me a yell if you can come over to look at the ship. – 703-728-6949

Can you give me a call? I need your cell phone number too.

Peter,
Pictures and videos fine; I just have to off you after wards. I'm heading up Wednesday and my cell phone is 707-728-6949. What do you think about getting together with the XO at some point? I want to meet him in person. We could make this an annual event. We could start the secret XO’s society, some what akin to the pirate’s society.

I took my blog off because the XO put a really good update on the blog that appeared after mine. I didn't want to take away from his.

I'm heading up to Newport next week on Wednesday and we don't depart till Saturday. Bob said that he was doing to get us over for dinner. Any chance of you coming over to see the ship?

Peter,
Is the "Currently Aboard" map show locations of people logged on or just people that have given a location at some point?

Hey Pete, Happy Labor Day Weekend!
I did put myself on the frapper map on Thursday, does it show up? does on my page.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Peter,

I went through my four yearbooks, ’76 – ’79 and make a spread sheet of all the crew members and positions. ’76 only listed names so I filled in positions as best as I could from memory. ’78 had neither so again I used my failing memory. I also scanned all of the TABOR BOY pages with all the different crews through the years.

The process of doing both gave me an idea, although daunting and perhaps not practical. What if we had a page that had pictures of each year’s crew and their position aboard the schooner? When I post what I have scanned to date, I can tag them with “year book”, for a start. I know this would take a lot of work. Someone would have to scan over fifty year books minus four. However, it would be pretty dam cool. What do you think? What if we took shifts? What if we pressured some unsuspecting student into service?

Best regards,
Jamie
