Hey Bones,
Thanks for getting back to me. I moved to Costa Rica after 45 years pushing every kind of boat you can think of. I worked my way up the Hawes Pipe ending up with a 3000 Ton Masters- any Oceans, 500 Ton Auxsail, and 100 to Sail Only. Also endorsements for Dynamic Positioning Masters used extensively in the Offshore Oil Industry. My former wife and I worked the Caribbean, Virgins and Bahamas, for many years operating both charter and private yachts. In between yachts I 'd go commercial until we found another adventure. My knees got screwed up in the Marine Corps back in 1968 and fortunately have a great disability from the V.A. due to unemployability in my profession. I had two new ones installed and with a little squirt of WD-40 I can still dance pretty well.My info is:

Happy New Year...and we will definitely talk after the New Year.

Sounds as though you have done just what we all expected - a great life on the sea. I often wonder (read regret) what life would have been like if I had remained in the Coast Guard or got into an ocean going life. But I also wonder what life would have been like if I had gone to Hollywood to peruse film making instead of teaching and starting my own business. But, the past is just that!
We frequently charter in the BVI, have cruised in the Greek Isles and charted a barge in southern France for a canal trip.
I sailed my boat to Tabor for our 45th and returned to Maine with Tom Morgan as one of my crew. I may bring her down this spring for the month of June.
Yes, figuring this site out can be frustrating for those of us not born into the computer world. You can go to Bro's site and "leave a comment". You can also call the Alumni Office and I am sure they will be glad to give you his address - and leave yours at the same time.
When I can take the time to download some pictures I will do so. I have one taken at the dock in Winter Harbor Maine, my summer port, on the wall in my office; also, a painting of TB given to me by Cap when he was packing to move to Florida.
I went to Cap’s well attended service in Marion. He certainly had a major influence on my life as I am sure he did on many young schooner officers and crew.
Glad to hear that AA is working for you. I have had one former employee return for a chat as part of his AA program – also recommended a few to the program.
I am about to embark on restoring the “Old Eagle” that graced the transom during our tenure. She was taken off some time ago and lived in basements and garages for years.
I will send you a picture of Taffy – her friend Kate is my wife.
Hey Bill....I forgot to comment on Taffy Corson and Kate Peters. I remember the name Taffy, but I'm embarrassed to say I 'm having a hell of a time putting her face to her name..Help?????
Tim, nice you have surfaced – missed you at our 45th. Memory failing, I don’t think so! How is this for memory? After a certain amount of “Tim Foolery” involving a roof on a certain campus building yours truly took over as Exec followed by two summers post graduation.
Do you remember Bennett College, Taffy Corson and Kate Peters?
